SMALL DEVELOPMENTS MAKE A HUGE IMPACT
This week Rural Housing Week is giving housing associations, such as ourselves, an excellent opportunity to shout about all the excellent work we do and the positive impact we have on village communities.
Today we’re attending the Community Landowners Association’s first Housing Summit in London when the CLA policy report on rural housing will be unveiled.
Whilst Northamptonshire Rural Housing Association brings small-scale affordable developments to rural villages, the impact they have on communities is huge.
This year, more than ever, we’re building more homes in more places, and making a difference to more individuals. Residents have already moved into our development in Braunston and our six new homes in Titchmarsh are now complete. In Yarwell, work is set to get underway imminently.
All our developments enable local people to continue living in the villages in which they’ve been brought up, where they work or where they have family. Residents use their local services and facilities, such as shops, Post Offices and schools, ensuring their economic viability.
Each new development we build is helping a rural community to survive.
