During lockdown our repairs service is only dealing with emergency repairs that are necessary to keep you safe

WHAT IS CLASSED AS AN EMERGENCY?

Emergency repairs are those that if they are not completed there could be a risk to residents and members of the public and / or be detrimental to the building.

Loss of power or dangerous electrical fault

Smell of gas CO detector sounding

No heating & hot water if there is no electric shower or a vulnerable resident is involved

Major uncontainable leak

Insecure property – serious damage to widows and doors

Blocked Drains

Disturbed Asbestos

This list is not definitive and we assess each repair individually to determine whether it should be dealt with as an emergency.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE SUSPECTED OR CONFIRMED CORONAVIRUS

It is essential that you tell us if you or someone in the household has a suspected or confirmed case of Coronavirus when reporting a repair. This will allow us evaluate the repair; as every emergency is different we will need to plan how to complete the works whilst looking after everybody’s wellbeing and safety.

WILL YOU STILL BE CARRYING OUT MY ANNUAL GAS SAFETY CHECK?

Yes we will continue to follow all guidelines from Government and our Regulator and will be prioritising all programmed services to ensure the safety of our residents.

WILL GRASS CUTTING / GROUNDS MAINTENANCE WORKS CONTINUE?

Routine grass cutting and grounds maintenance works have been suspended until 14 April 2020.
An emergency service will continue to be provided during this period.
As with property repairs each set of circumstances will be considered individually to assess if it is an emergency and the appropriate action to be taken.
