The Association offers properties that you can purchase on a part-buy, part-rent basis.  This scheme is call Newbuild Homebuy and was formerly known as Shared Ownership. The Association operate Newbuild Homebuy within Northamptonshire.

HOW TO APPLY FOR NEWBUILD HOMEBUY

If you are interested in Newbuild Homebuy you will need to contact the relevant Homebuy Agent who operate in the area where you wish to purchase a property. The Homebuy Agent act as a one stop shop for Newbuild Homebuy schemes and offer advice and information on low cost home ownership. You can also access the Homebuy Agent website to view details of properties available for purchase in the area you wish to live.

Section 106 Agreements

The Association offers tenancies to rural people in housing need and many of our properties are subject to a Section 106 Agreement. This is a planning agreement entered into with local authorities whereby they can restrict the use of the land and ensure that Housing Associations provide affordable housing for local people.

The section 106 agreement will stipulate that an applicant must have a  local connection to the area if they wish to apply for accommodation. This will normally be where an applicant lives or has previously lived/worked in the area and has relatives residing there.
